Celebrating Digital Lifelines Scotland at our third annual conference in Edinburgh
On 10th September, Digital Lifelines Scotland hosted our third annual conference at the Surgeons Quarter in Edinburgh. We were thrilled to be joined by our wonderful colleagues from Scottish Government, Third Sector, Academia, and Industry to help us celebrate the achievements of the programme so far and look to the future of how digital can help reduce drug-related harms in Scotland.
The audience heard from funded organisations about the incredible impact digital inclusion is making to people they support. Delivery partners shared insights on the ways in which digital is changing the delivery of initiatives in different sectors. Colleagues from academia, third sector, research and Scottish Government spoke in a lively panel session about the landscape of drug related harm in Scotland. The afternoon’s interactive session encouraged all participants to collaborate and discuss the opportunities and challenges going forward for Digital Lifelines Scotland to have ongoing and sustainable outcomes for people at risk of drug related harm.
The team and audience were incredibly impacted by the presentation from Harbour Ayrshire, one of the programme's grant funded organisations delivering digital inclusion to people at risk of drug related harm. We were delighted that Vari spoke at the conference to highlight the impact that digital inclusion is making to the people supported by the Harbour team.
