In November 2023, DRNS held an online event to gather views from stakeholders to identify future priorities for Scottish drugs research. The following priorities were identified:
- Harms and drug related deaths
- Treatment and recovery
- Legal changes
- Drugs as medicine
The 2024 conference will focus on these emerging themes in the field of drugs research, within and outside of Scotland.
