How to save a life: emergency response to an overdose

RADAR (Rapid Action Drug Alerts and Response) and the Simon Community Scotland worked together to create a resource on how to respond to a drug overdose, and how to reduce the harm from drugs.

This resource contains basic need-to-know information on an emergency overdose response and harm reduction information, including:

• What to do if someone overdoses
• Reducing the harm
• Naloxone and how to use it
